Shrimp Fried Rice

About This Dish

Cap Gajah® Parboiled Rice topped with soya sauce, shrimps, eggs, chili, green onions and garlic. You won’t be able to resist this bursting-with-flavor dish with shrimp, eggs and the taste of soya sauce and chili.

Ingredients

1 cup Cap Gajah® Parboiled Rice (3 persons)

1 cup Shrimp, cut into pieces

3 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce

1/2 cup Onion, chopped and thinly sliced

3/4 cup Green peppers, chopped

1/2 cup Carrot, halved and thinly sliced diagonally

1 tbsp Vegetable oil

2 eggs Eggs, beaten

1/4 cup Green Onion, chopped and thinly sliced

1/2 chili Hot chili (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Firstly, prepare the parboiled rice according to package direction.
  2. Next, pour in the soy sauce into the cooked parboiled rice and mix them evenly.
  3. Then, in a cooking pan, heat up the cooking oil. When the oil is hot enough, add in the chopped garlic and hot chili(optional), and saute until it turns light brown, add in the shrimp, and saute them again. When they are slightly browned, transfer them to a plate and leave them aside.
  4. Turn to high heat and add in 1 tbp vegetable oil and 2 eggs in the same cooking pan, stir-fry the eggs until lightly browned, turn the heat to medium, add in the soy sauced parboiled rice, saute the rice and eggs. After 5 minutes, stir in the shrimp for another 5 minutes.
  5. Finally, add in the thinly sliced green onions. Stir briefly before turning off the heat.
  6. Serve this delicious fried rice and enjoy it while it is hot.
