Family Chicken Rice

About This Dish

Cap Gajah® Parboiled Rice topped with sesame oil, soya sauce, chicken breast, green onions and garlic. This recipe features chicken breast to satisfy your hungry family.


3 cups Cap Gajah® Parboiled rice (9 servings)

3 cups Chicken breasts, skinned boned, cut into small pieces

2 slides Ginger

2 cloves Garlic

5 tbsp Soy Sauce

2 tbsp Oyster sauce (Optional)

1 tbsp Sesame Oil

1/2 cup Green onions chopped and thinly sliced

1 1/2 tbsp Vegetable oils

Pepper for taste


  1. Firstly, prepare the parboiled rice according to package direction.
  2. In a bowl, mix the chicken breasts and skinned boned with soy sauce, sesame oil, oyster sauce (optional) and pepper, and then wait for about 10 minutes.
  3. Next, heat up cooking oil in a cooking pan. When the oil is hot enough, add in the chopped garlic and ginger, and saute them until it turns lightly brown, add in the chicken, and cook them over medium high heat until no longer pink.
  4. While the rice is still boiling, add in the cooked chicken and mix them up evenly.
  5. When the rice is ready, serve the chicken rice with green onions.
  6. Serve the family chicken rice and enjoy it while it is hot.
